Elle has been practicing yoga in some form almost half her life. Having started in the yang practice of traditional Mysore ashtanga, and then exploring lighter practices of Sivananda and restorative, Elle now combines elements of both in both her teaching and practice. She credits her ability to teach alignment focused vinyasa to her teacher Mia Togo, herself a student of Annie Carpenter and her ‘smart flow’ style. Elle believes that yoga is a feeling rather than a shape, and so places a great deal of emphasis on individuality and self expression.
Elle teaches a mindful and uniquely challenging vinyasa flow, with emphasis on alignment. Expect to work towards a specific pose or poses, building in a way that gives you the tools to advance your own practice.
