WHAT ARE THE COURSE REQUIREMENTS
We recommend a minimum of 2 years practice, however, we take every application into consideration to account for exceptional circumstances. We cannot however guarantee every application will be successful.
WHAT STYLE OF YOGA WILL TAUGHT
You will graduate with a 200 hour vinyasa teacher training certificate, when you have completed all requirements. This means you will have the knowledge the sequence classes around themes of philosophy and teach balanced classes understanding the anatomy and physiology of the body. During the course our main focus will be vinyasa flow of varying degrees, fast soft, slow, dynamic. We will also touch on yin, restorative and yoga nidra, these will not alter your qualification in vinyasa but give you insight and context.
WHO CERTIFIES THE COURSE
The course is certified with Yoga Alliance international, this means the course is recognised globally and certified yoga training. We have found theis to be the best way to support he course for all. They regulate what we teach and make sure the course is offer to the highest standard and that everything that is needed is covered.
WHAT IS THE COURSE STRUCTURE?
The course is created for the best way for you to learn, in digestible lectures. As much as possible the course interactive and is group based learning, we will be in lectures of discussion as well as practice teaching and also there is some work that is expected to be carried out between the sessions, things like creating plans, and completing essays, some reading time and general absorption of the course materials.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS A SESSION?
If you must miss a class/day (exceptional circumstances only) then you need to make up the hours with the relevant teachers on your own time. please note this is less than ideal an teachers won't always be able to meet at convenient times, it might be case of them issuing you the work to catch up and them reviewing. This time will be charged at £75 per hour which will be paid directly to the teacher you have missed the session with. We will invoice you for these session should this come up!
DOES EVERYONE PASS?
There are exams to qualify through completing this course, however we can absolutely find ways to resit or take the exam again should nerves or circumstance get i the way.
WILL THERE BE AN EXAM?
Yes, there will be your teacher will need to know you understand this tradition and your care as you pass it on. Therefore there will be one practical and one written assessment the second the last weekend of the course.
ARE PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABLE?
Yes. There are several ways to pay, we are fairly open with this and are happy to discuss on a one to one basis.
However we offer a 3 or 4 part payment plan, to pay in equal instalments after your deposit. The deposit is £300 to secure your space.
WHERE WILL THE COURSE TAKE PLACE?
HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE ON THE COURSE?
There will be a maximum of 16 people on the course.
WILL THERE BE A READING LIST?
Yes you will receive your reading list after your application is completed and you have paid your deposit. You will be expected to purchase all books, but we try to keep costs down as much as possible.
HOW MUCH HOMEWORK IS THERE?
There will be some elements of the course that will include home reading, essay writing and class preparation in your own time. It's different person to person but around 1-2 hours per week dedicated to your own learning outside of the contact hours.
HOW MUCH PHYSICAL PRACTICE WILL I BE EXPECTED TO DO?
We will indulge in a minimum of 1 long class each day we are in session. We learn a lot through action and being guided from our teachers as well as feeling things fully in our own body. However there will also be active session of getting up and feeling through postures.
DO I NEED TO LIVE IN LONDON?
You do not need to live in London but you must be able to attend all hours of the training modules and accommodation is your responsibility.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO WORK ALONGSIDE THE COURSE?
We designed the structure of the course to allow you to do the training around your full time work. This is key for su and why the course is longer than 3 months when teaching courses over 3 months we have found it really isn't enough time for those in full time work and therefore we wanted to make the course more accessible.

WE may respond with more questions or a call first. Spaces are limited so we recommend early application to avoid disappointment. This will be a first come first serve application process for successful candidates.
WHEN WILL BE ABLE TO TEACH?
We begin teaching within the training very early on, its the best way to learn and absorb the information. However you will be permitted to teach public classes until you are fully qualified after you have passed the course requirements, once there you can teach right away!
