Below is an overview of the styles currently offered at our Stoke Newington yoga studio.

FLOW YOGA

A steady, breath-led class that links and builds movement, energetic freedom and awareness into an intelligent and creative sequence. Flow Yoga builds body warmth, strength and mobility while inviting you into a deeper state of focus and flow.

Expect accessible but progressing sequences, clear guidance and options throughout. You’ll leave feeling more energised, flowing, balanced and more at home in your body and ease and focus of mind. Suitable for mixed level - email if unsure or have questions.

VINYASA FLOW

A more dynamic, breath-led class linking movement and breath in a steady, flowing sequence. Expect to build warmth, strength and focus while moving with intention and ease.

A flow class but with more direct purpose, full body strength, flexibility and deep benefits of stress relief due to greater focus on body and breath awareness throughout.

Open level - email if unsure or questions.

SLOW FLOW

DYNAMIC FLOW

Dynamic Flow is an energising, flowing practice that links movement with breath to build strength, stamina, pose range and focus. Expect music, good vibes, energy and awakening. Classes build steadily and mindfully, offering a balance of challenge and accessibility.

Experience required more for those wanting to build, sweat and have some focused fun.

An unhurried flow designed to help you transition and ease back into your body. This class links breath with progressive movement at a slower pace, allowing time to feel and be in each posture and move with awareness.

Expect a practice that feels grounding rather than demanding — supportive, steady, and quietly rejuvenating.

Suitable for all levels, including beginners. A lovely choice if you want to move, breathe, and have a sense of time.

CANDLELIGHT SLOW FLOW

Perfect for decompressing after a digital or working day. Rest the eyes, quieten the mind and ease the body. A perfect class to de-stress, decompress and ease into an evening of care.

Slow Flow classes move at a more spacious pace, allowing time to explore transitions and settle into postures and poses. These classes are supportive for beginners, those returning to yoga, or anyone seeking a calmer, more mindful practice.

SLOW & UNWIND

A gentler, slower, breath-led flow class followed by longer stretches to help ease, quieten and soften. Building a little warmth and freedom in the body before settling deeper into the body and being. Expect a practice that feels grounding rather than demanding. Suitable for all levels, including beginners and pregnancy. A lovely class when you want to move, breathe and unwind.

RESTORE

A deeply calming class designed to help you slow down and find more ease. Rest & Restore combines gentle and slow movement with longer holds, breath awareness and guided relaxation to soothe the nervous system and ease physical tension.

Expect releasing and opening poses, stillness and space — a chance to truly switch off from the pace of the day and allow your body and mind to unwind. This is not about stretching further or doing more, but about restoring by slowing down.

Suitable for all levels, including complete beginners. Especially supportive during busy, stressful or low-energy periods, or simply as a beautiful addition to your week and overall wellbeing.

SLOW & SOUND

A Slow Flow beginning (40 mins) to help open, relax and ground the body, releasing tension and quietening the mind.

Followed by Sound Healing (20 mins), expect a deep state of stillness to receive the sounds and vibrations of crystal bowls.

A weekly treat of a class to aid a sense of wellbeing.

MENS YOGA

A welcoming yoga class for men — all levels welcome. Focused on strength, mobility, flexibility, stress relief and connecting more to balance, wellbeing and community. Expect clear, simple, breath-focused movement, followed by a short guided meditation to close.

FLOW TO YIN

A treat of a class for when you need a bit of everything but have a calling for more balance and wellbeing. A class split between exploring flowing movement and freeing the body before settling into some deeper Yin style holds to release the body on the deeper, more connective and energetic layers and allow some time to quieten and ease the body and being.

Open to all levels.

YIN YOGA

Poses are held for a longer period of time (typically three to five minutes or longer) to target the connective tissues (such as ligaments) rather than focusing on the muscles. Poses use less muscular (yang) engagement but work to energetically free deeper tissue structures.

Expect a deep (sometimes challenging) and meditative practice.

PAUSE, FEEL & BREATHE

Body, breath and nervous system regulation.

A class to allow yourself to pause. A blend of practices designed to guide you into poses with a sense of time and space to breathe and feel.

Expect to:

  • Explore freeing the breath from mechanical and emotional blocks.

  • Spend time in held yoga poses (more like Yin than Flow) to allow the body to settle and release deeper tension patterns.

  • Support nervous system balance through quietening, listening and feeling inwardly.

SUNDAY NIGHT RESET

A class of slow-flowing yoga, restoring held poses and Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation on a deeper consciousness level).A perfect class to reset on a Sunday night from the weekend or for the week ahead.

Unravel, unwind, rejuvenate the body and quieten the mind. The perfect end to a weekend.

RUN & YOGA

A spring/summer special. Need something new for your weekly rhythm, or a sense of community and fun? A class involving a lap of Clissold Park followed by a 45-minute yoga class.

Run: 7.15am meet at the studio if joining for the run before class start time to leave any belongings and say hello. All levels welcome. More a chance to get out together, see some green, chat or focus on your run and fitness.

Yoga: 7.45am, a 45-minute class for everyone whether you have run or not. Sign up for class as usual. For runners, the class is a perfect way to free up the body, balance the breath and start the day energised and balanced.
